Sinead Nolan looks after the youth and schools development for CMRF Crumlin.

As a charity for Crumlin Hospital, donations are necessary for various aspects of the running of the hospital, from new equipment to new wards etc.

Sinead joined CMRF after working in the corporate world for over 18 years.

Keen basketball player and coach, she has been involved with a number of youth and senior teams over the years.

Mark O'Halloran is an award winning scriptwriter and actor.

His works include Adam and Paul, Garage, Viva and many more for TV, Cinema as well as Theatre.

In 2019 he starred with Stephen Graham in the Channel 4 miniseries The Virtues, written and directed by Shane Meadows 

He grew up in Ennis, Co. Clare, but move to Amsterdam, London and finally Dublin.

David grew up in Dublin, Ireland and has been advocating for mental health awareness for a number of years.

His podcast "I sprained my mental health" deals with a number of issues seeing from a personal perspective.

He has been doing a lot of charity events for the likes of Aware and other leading organisations that care for people with mental illness.

Passionate about football, especially Shelbourne FC, and he became part of the first team coaching staff for a number of years.

Charlie Ryder was born and grew up in London.

Both his parents came from Ireland and his affinity with the country of his ancestors is very strong.

1993 following a demonstration against the British National Party, Charlie was sentenced to 16 months in prison, of which he served 8 for good behaviour.

He wrote and performed a one man play based on his prison experience that he has performed in prisons in Ireland and UK as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

He has worked as a social worker and carer and he has written a number of songs, including two that are played in this podcast.

Dee Newell grew up in a small village in Co.Galway. 

Her love for swimming started as young girl where she found solace in the early morning pool training.

She joined the army after school and her current rank is Captain.

Dee enjoys challenges and after trying anything from weight lifting and body building, she completed Iron Man and triathlon race.

Her first love, swimming, is what she has been concentrating on more recently.  She is a long distance swimmer with the Galway Bay, The Irish Sea and The English Channel already under her belt.

In February 2020 she'll be part of an Exploration (along with Ger Kennedy, previous guest on the show) to Antartica where they'll be swimming... ice swimming.

Paddy's working life started in radio and broadcasting, but soon he found himself working in the world of wealth management and finance.

Changes happen when he discover mindfulness, first as an individual practice and then as a teacher.

He now runs regular events, workshops and retreats.

Ger Kennedy grew up in Dublin, played rugby and competed in triathlons.

Following an injury to his knees and hips he was advised to try sea swimming in cold water.

What started as a pain relief became a new found love for long distance swimming and ice swimming.

Ger will be swimming in Antartica in February 2020 leading a international group of swimmers.

He has been nominated as person of the year be World Open Water Swimming Association

Aidan grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Killarney, Co. Kerry.

Kerry's tradition and love for Gaelic Football goes deep into the DNA of its people and playing for your county is the dream of most young men growing up there.

Aidan played for Kerry for 14 years, captained the side and won the coveted All Ireland Cup five times. 

He has been described many times as a "Kerry Legend".

Upon retiring in 2017 he went on to participate and win the first Dancing With The Stars aired in Ireland.

He had put his knowledge of fitness and his fame to good use, running a fitness website and doing a lot of charity work within and outside his community.
